TALBOTT VINEYARDS HOLDS 20TH ANNIVERSARY RELEASE JUNE 6th 2006

WINEMAKER DINNER AT BOUCHEE RESTAURANT

 

Monterey County, Calif. On Tuesday June 6th, 2006, Talbott Vineyards, along with Bouchée Restaurant & Wine Merchants, will host a special winemaker dinner at Bouchée Restaurant in Carmel to celebrate the release of Talbott Vineyards’ 2003 Sleepy Hollow Vineyard Chardonnay – the 20th anniversary release of Talbott’s first Monterey County Chardonnay. 

The event will be hosted by Talbott Vineyards founder, Robb Talbott, who will be pouring a vertical selection of Sleepy Hollow Chardonnay as well as other Talbott wines alongside the cuisine of Bouchée executive chef Walter Manzke. The evening will begin with a grand reception at 6:00 p.m., with dinner to follow at 7:00 p.m.  The cost for this exclusive dinner is $100 per person plus gratuity. Seating is very limited and the event is expected to sell out quickly. Prior to the dinner there will be a press and public tasting of Talbott Vineyards wines held between 2:30 p.m and 4:30 p.m., which will be free to the public and media. Talbott Vineyards is dedicated to producing estate-grown, Burgundian influenced Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs that offer both elegance and aging potential. These small-lot wines are crafted using grapes from Monterey County’s most esteemed vineyard areas: the Santa Lucia Highlands and the Carmel Valley. Each bottling is crafted to reflect the distinct vineyard block from which it is sourced. To ensure quality year after year, owner Robb Talbott and the winemaking team personally select only the most exceptional 20 percent of estate fruit for use in the Talbott family of wines.

Located in Carmel-by-the-Sea, the intimate and inviting 49-seat Bouchée Restaurant offers a menu influenced by the bounty of the local land and sea. Guided by renowned executive chef Walter Manzke, Bouchée’s of-the-season, California and Mediterranean-influenced culinary creations have established its reputation as one of Carmel’s most acclaimed restaurants.
